Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day

Today is a Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day. This is an international event created to promote and celebrate the art of pinhole photography. For those who do knot know what pinhole means here is a brief definition from wikipedia: A pinhole camera is a simple camera without a lens and with a single small aperture - effectively a light-proof box with a small hole in one side. Light from a scene passes through this single point and projects an inverted image on the opposite side of the box. The human eye in bright light acts similarly, as do cameras using small apertures.

There are plenty of different articles and manuals on the internet about how to make a pinhole camera yourself. I made mine based on Kelly Angood's 35mm Pinhole Hasselblad plan.

Here are the photos I made with this camera. I am pretty much satisfied with the result considering that it was my first pinhole experience.
